Mathew was born and raised in Lyon, France, and moved to Boston in 2017. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. From an early age, Mathew was intrigued by the influence of advertising. His father Arthur worked for The Amaury Media group in France and would share the ideas behind specific ad campaigns. Mathew started his career at the young age of 12 by winning an amateur advertising campaign for a local radio station in Lyon.
Mathew moved to Boston with his family and graduated from East Boston High School in 2017. He enrolled in Boston University and graduated in 2021. He considers himself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on his academic foundations in communication and sociology and stays in tune with the latest digital marketing strategies through continued coursework.
Mathew joined the global marketing company SmartSites in January 2022. His hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to his most recent success at SmartSites, where he led international, award-winning campaigns for heavy-hitting brands. Meanwhile, the vastly improved the productivity of his team by implementing strategic project management methods and ensuring a work-life balance for his department.
